"Born in Paris in 1970, Yaël immigrated to Canada in 1975, returned to Paris in 1979 and moved to San Diego in 1981.
After studying at UCLA with a Bachelor of Science in Biology, she started as an animal nurse, with a proper diploma of technician.
At the same time, her guitar technique improved day by day, as well as admiration for Sara Vaughan, John Baez and whole group of singer-songwriters with a message, and she wrote her first song in 2008.

As a musical duo Yael and Vlady portray their love of melody, their craft of instrument playing, and their joy of living. They are described by most as a gypsy experience with a style that arouses rock n roll, blues, European setbacks, pop music, and every so often even gets right in line with original art!
